styling meticulously blended with sophisticated technology.
A Twin supercharged and intercooled EFI engine with more horsepower than any
factory Shelby Mustang, a new Corvette ZR-1 or a new Dodge Viper. They’ll
know you’re coming with the beautiful but subtle supercharger whine, a
camshaft idle you’ll love and a muscular exhaust sound that’s not too loud
on the inside yet intimidating on the outside. A fully integrated tube
chassis with roll bar easily handles the power while a NASCAR style belly
pan provides high speed aerodynamics. The body has been extended 7” over
stock to comfortably sit virtually anyone up to 7 feet tall. It features a
multi-layered black paint (similar to the Obsidian lava rock). This is the
deepest black paint you’ll ever see and it’s absolutely flawless. Formula
One style paddle shifters enable lightning fast and consistent gear changes
(the world’s first in a Mustang!). Enormous Brembo four wheel disc brakes
with hydro boost provide fade-free stopping power in a hurry. A fully
adjustable coil over suspension system is tuned for carving out corners
while providing excellent ride characteristics. A performance rack and
pinion steering system gives the utmost in road feel and goes precisely
where you point it. Custom 18” front and 20” rear aluminum wheels and BF
Goodrich KDW tires provide a nose down appearance with superior dry and wet
weather traction and razor sharp handling and braking. Inside, you’ll find
power everything with bone chilling air conditioning. To ensure the highest
level of your entertainment experience there is a 3,000 watt Kicker stereo
system with Dolby 5.1 surround sound, DVD navigation, MP3, iPod, XM
Radio, 60GB hard drive, and Bluetooth. There’s even WiFi Internet access
wherever your journey takes you. The cockpit is wrapped in the finest
leather. Seating is fully adjustable with lumbar support, electronic control
and heating. To keep the outside world from coming in and to provide the
ultimate in year round comfort, the interior is fully lined with the latest
in sound proofing and heat insulation. The latest instrumentation with
Chameleon lighting provide vital statistics and allow you to adjust to just

been THE show stopper whenever its appeared (the front entrance of the 2006
SEMA show, 2007 All Ford Nationals and the featured car of the 2007 SEMA
show duPont Registry booth). Max Power magazine said this car was the
world’s best modified car. There’s only one available and it will never be
reproduced (the owner and builder certified they will never build another
one so it’s the rarest of rare). That should come as no surprise though.

What is the redline of the engine?
A: A safe 6,500RPM

Can the car be licensed and registered in the state of California?
A: Yes. It is currently licensed and registered for use in California
Q:
What would need to be done to make well over 1,000 horsepower?
A: Revise the fuel system, custom tuning, smaller supercharger pulleys,
camshaft change and transmission change. The result is that the engine
could not be run on pump gasoline and transmission durability may become an
issue. Therefore, we strongly recommend keeping the horsepower level where
it is to keep the car fully streetable and enjoyable.
Q:
Can you hear the camshaft and exhaust inside the cockpit?
A: Yes. It has a moderate lopey but streetable idle. The exhaust is
muscular, deep and powerful but with no drone at highway speeds.
Q:
How does the performance of the vehicle compare to other classic Mustangs?
A: We know of no other 1967 Mustangs that offer more all around
“streetable” performance or technology than the Obsidian SG-One.
Q:
Is there any warranty on the powertrain? If not is one available and how
much would it cost?
A: Due to the nature of the vehicle, the vehicle is not offered with a
powertrain warranty.
Q:
Can someone explain the electronics and how to operate all aspects of the
vehicle upon delivery?
A:
The car will be delivered fully documented with operating instructions,
mechanical specifications, maintenance requirements, and a certified chassis
dynamometer report.
Q:
Are replacement/spare parts available as well as service after the sale?
A:
Yes. Most wear/service items can be purchased separately through many
aftermarket mail order specialty companies, vehicle tuners and builders.
The vehicle can be serviced by virtually anyone with mechanical knowledge
including the builder, many specialty builders/tuners. We can refer you to
several professional mechanics capable of working on and/or maintaining the
car as well as wear/service item suppliers.
Q:
Can the car be delivered to my door?
A: Yes. At an additional charge, we can ship the car, fully insured, to
anywhere in the continental United States using duPont Registry’s preferred
transporter, Exotic Car Transport.
